Rover BRM (now with mot)

Having thought long n hard about this and changing my mind several times I am 110% selling my BRM.

Reason is, I need the money towards a house. I'd love to keep it and throw money at it but it just can't happen. I have had it in the garage for the last few months and to be honest I've needed that space for my bikes instead. With a baby on the way I'm not going to have any time to work on this and go biking etc.

I will one day probably regret selling up but that's life

MOT till Sept 2013

Mileage is at 73k

Mods are:

James springs lowered approx 40mm
Front and rear strut braces
282mm Ti/ZS setup
Janspeed manifold and cat back exhaust. (Made a spacer pipe to bridge manifold to cat)
Piper cross induction kit on custom pipe
Oil catch tan
11 spoke ZS wheels with near new tyres
Loads more including custom aluminium bits galore

I have loads of pics and you can always check out my build thread

The roof lining is falling slightly in a couple of places which is annoying! Not much of a job to replace though.

Few little spots of bubbling but arches are solid. Sills are solid.

Car is overall very good. Hand brake is rubbish though. Put new discs and pads on but think cables might be buggered. It just about bites.

Vvc is a touch noisy but nothing too bad

Price £2000

Some might think this steep. But bear in mind the mods, mileage, plate and the custom bits.

I am open to offers but as always I'm starting high.

Please do not SPAM my thread with "you'll never get that" or "I've sold better than that for less".

This is an enthusiasts site and not the bargain pages.

Thanks for looking if you are interested please message me.

I will consider breaking but not for at least a few months. I'm not in a hurry to sell it, I don't need it out of the way.

A stunning example I've seen at POL.

Good luck with the sale, Wish I had the money!

all i can say is good luck Shaggy.

I remember your silver 200 was rediculously clean and im sure this is no different.

Lot of money with no T&T especially but hopefully and enthusiast will take to it and see it for what it is. A clean, low mileage BRM with some nice touches.

If I get serious interest then I'd MOT it.

But I'm not going to at the moment. No insurance etc

Have been offered £1500

But as I'm in no hurry I will bide my time.

I've seen poor condition ones sell for just a little less so hoping for closer to 2k

I'm not but fed up of plebs offering silly money and rover "enthusiasts" saying I'm asking too much.

Throwing money away on adverts too, and its no longer in the garage.

then you might aswel just break it.

£2k is probably about the going rate for a 'mint' one but you're appealing to the smallest market imaginable so its gonna take a while.

Will probably give it till xmas, it isnt going on ebay again.
