I've had a good look around it as I was going to buy it for my misses, but the insurance is a bit much for a new driver. Shame really - I get on well with the seller (lady in her 40's) and it's been well looked after.
4 good tyres, central locking, everything works as it should.
Arches are all good. No rust coming through.
It was pressure tested during the last service and was fine. There's no vanilla milkshake on the filler cap and the coolant is clean.
It needs a good clean, but body-wise it's 95%. And I'm fussy! Starts and runs well.
Bad bits:
Passenger front door has a noisy locking mechanism. It still works and locks, it just makes a funny noise when doing it!
Sunroof has started leaking (this happened on my old 200vi - it's an easy fit. The metal on the glass rusts and pushes the seal away from the glass. Just needs the glass removing, seal removing, edges sanding down, seal putting back on the glass with some clear silicone. Easy!)
