My Rover 620ti

Post by victor3 »

1998 (S-plate) Rover 620ti 2-litre turbo in Nightfire Red, half leather seats, 159,000 on clock, MOT until May 2014. Slight clutch slip on full turbo boost and aircon rad has a slight hole (but I never use the aircon anyway). Immobiliser, ABS, driver and passenger air bags, rear seat belts, Alloy 16-inch wheels (refurbished about 2 years ago) and body well above average for the year. Totally unmolested with regard to boost etc.

A great 'slight restoration' project for anyone.

Leccy windows and sunroof are all 100% ... now superfluous to requirements so first offer over £250 drives this away.

I often drive cars without tax, mot or insurance. It wont affect its roadworthy-ness at all :)

Also from october cars cannot be sold with tax by law anyway. Green slip, straight down post office or on the blower.

Has a tax disc until 30/09/2014 and I'm happy to include this at cost. For the avoidance of doubt, the car is used regularly and is not a 'scrapper' or 'spares only'.

It has a couple of small things that need doing (price obviously reflects this) but with a bit of outlay, elbow grease and TLC, it will look good and drive well.

Cheers guys.

That was my last link to Rover cars that started with my T16 Maestro many moons ago, now sadly departed, so unless I find some other stuff around to offer for sale, this will be my last post to this forum.

In parting I must thank all members and administrators for the good times that reading these pages has given me and hopefully some of my 5,000+ posts have also given others the same.

My best wishes to you all ..... :bye:

The Mental Maestro is still one of my favourite cars ever. Used to aspire to build something similar when I had my Maestro.

All the best for the future Victor. :)
