Rover 75 connisseur se £250
Hello all, ive got a nice motor for sale, its a 2002 rover 75 conny in the burgandy/maroon colour, its mot'd till jan and is currently at 90k miles. Being the conny model it comes with full cream electric leather seats with blue piping and cream carpets to match, heated and electric seats, chrome mirrors etc etc
It has the 2.0 v6 engine fitted and a manual gearbox. Its in good mechanical condition but needs a couple of lower arm 'd' bushes, a new window switch pack in the drivers door as the drivers switch is temperamental and an abs sensor, the sensor comes with the car but needs fitting.
It has a few very light scratches but they'll go with a nice sunny day and a good poish, it has no dents or rust and is still a nice tidy car as is.
Ive recently fully serviced the car including cabin filter etc, its also had a new alternator and a few other bits but ill need to ask the guy i got it off to confirm.
I want £250 for it as it is.
Ill get the pics up once ive figured out how photobucket works now since theyve changed it all.

Right it turns out the vis motors are making a noise, its either the flaps or the motors i havent really looked at it, due to this ill take £250 for the car to get it out the way.

Re: Rover 75 connisseur se £300
You only got to see how quiet this forum has become to see how things in general are going lucky if there is 5 posts a day there use to be 2 or 3 pages of new replies a day.
Sad thing is a lot of the turbo cars have ended up lashed into bubbles and not done properly for the cars to then be owned by some complete chav to get totally thrashed and wrecked and then scrapped there is only a handfull of what I would call good conversions about.
Give it a few more years and RT and many other Rover forums will simply be a bank of resources as just about every question has been asked and answered and there will be even less Rovers left on the road by then.

Thats a bit of a prophecy of doom, but I fear you might not be too far from the truth. 10 years now since the demise and the typical life of a car is what 13 years. Soon only be the enthusiasts left.

It is correct myself and many other members who been on here for years would of seen the damage that the demise of Rover has done and it's going to get less and less over the coming years as cars come to end of there life with exception to enthusiasts as you have said.

When you think the youngest MG/Rover cars are now over ten years old, what chance do they stand in this trendy-throwaway society we live in?Badboyrich wrote:Thats a bit of a prophecy of doom, but I fear you might not be too far from the truth. 10 years now since the demise and the typical life of a car is what 13 years. Personally, I think MG/Rover ownership is made up of two very different groups of people; the young-bucks who want a cheap car with power. And conversely, people like myself who are truly enthusiastic about the cars and the brand, regardless of the market value.
I have been on this forum for only a couple of years, but my Rover ownership spans over eighteen years. I visit the forum daily and enjoy reading the posts, but have noticed that it's gone a little quiet these last couple of months.
I guess it will gradually change to a more enthusiasts-dominated forum like the Coupe owners club and Rover 200 & 400 owners club forums.
