Other than Cableguy who is coming to collect his goods, This for sale thread is now closed. Nothing else is for sale due to the shite nature of this weeks events.

Only 2 People have actually managed to get there cash back, The rest are pending i cannot do anything it doesnt give me ANY options other than to pay via Cash/Cheque directly to the buyer, And if im stupid enough todo that then i know im going to lose it twice.

Hmm something doesnt seem right here, if paypal screwed you out of that much money surley ur account would have been limited, and if they have froze your account your still entitled to the money as a cheque ater 28 days i think it is, why not just post the items out and reclaim the money from paypal yourself because at the end of the day good trusting people on rovertech did send you paypal money on the basis they would get car parts

Sorry if I'm heading the wrong way with this but I have done alot of reading up around the net and this is one of the biggest quick paypal scams thats going about now, the seller gets paypal money quickly and spends it. then eventully the people who paid you get there cash back using a paypal dispute (well not if they sent it by gift) and your account goes into a massive minus. No one loses out, well apart from your paypal account

I'm no nigerian scammer and I can point people to paypal websites warning them about such scams if they wish to be over paranoid like myself

You have 100% nothing to worry about with regards to that, I was a 100% Validated paypal user of well over 4 years, I also earn my living online and used paypal for around 70% of my business proceeds.

It's 180 Days you have to wait before claiming funds back and i AM sending out parts but giving people the chance to get there money back, The fact my wages never hit my bank until about 20mins ago is the reason ive not been able to send anything up until now due to my only access to funds was sitting there in a locked paypal account.

As for you Vinny yes you can collect i've PM'd you back (Just so people dont think im ignoring users).

You paid by gift therefore paypal will not refund you, only gavin can, but because he has pulled off this scam and you paid by gift, paypal won't refund you and he can't as he has spent all the paypal money before telling people to get claim there money back through the buyer protection.

I'm not daft mate, I know what you have done only takes a small amount of googling and its happened so many times before. For this to happen on rovertech is a real shame, the fact you did it to people on here is also bang out of order,

Don't have a go at me about this as Gavin you know that im right and I don't want an apology, I just want people like "tongon06" to get his money back, he was doing you a favour paying by gift and its him that ends up out of pocket with no parts....

TBF to Gav I received my paypal payment back pretty quickly.

Just wish he'd give me some indication of when my parts will be posted.

All is not lost though as I have access to his address and I'm sure Vinny wouldn't mind sharing the details either. He's not too far from me so if I get no reply I'll just head up and collect my money or parts.
