Bit of info on the rods

Imported from Sweden, UK enthusiasts can now enjoy the quality of PEC steel Con-rods as much as their European counterparts. These Con-rods have been designed, manufactured and tested to the highest levels of scrutiny before being released to the trade and the public alike. These lightweight, H-beam section connecting rods are forged from AISI 4340 (En24) steel. Heat treated to HRC 35-38 and fully shot-peened for higher fatigue strength. Small end bushed for fully floating pin and big end fitted with high quality ARP PRO-Wave 2000 fasteners. Suitable for high-performance street and competition uses. Price includes ARP rod bolts.

Pretty sure this is a For Sale thread, but as it's not in the For Sale section I shall assume it's not and I can have my say!

The PEC are 100% same rods as Williams, which are china sourced. Before everyone starts crying, they've been well discussed on here loads before:

http://www.rt2468abcd.r8technology.co.uk/viewtopi ... t=williams

http://www.rt2468abcd.r8technology.co.uk/viewtopi ... ilit=+rods
http://www.rt2468abcd.r8technology.co.uk/viewtopi ... =+williams

I ran them, and would again.

Yes with bolts, would use them myself but bought a set of arrow rods with oil squiters fitted so using them instead.
Never been out the box, thought ask on here first before putting them on eBay

I've used a set of Williams rods, only issue was one of the big ends was too small meaning the crank wouldn't turn so they needed re-honing at a machine shop. I'd still buy them again though.
