T series engines, ZS spoiler and other bits!

Right having a clear out of all the stuff I've acquired to help pay for the last push on EX259

2 x Rover T Series Turbo Engines

both were running well when removed about a year ago, have been dry stored since (one is currently in EX259 but will be coming out in the next few weeks)

First one has a slight top rattle when cold... other than that it runs sweet. Comes complete including throttle, manifolds and standard turbo. No oil cooler (can include a nearly new one at extra cost)

Second one came from a member on here (m220syg's brother I believe) who assured me that it was forged, but without stripping it down I can't confirm that.

Same as the other one it comes with throttle, manifolds and a standard turbo. I'm sure it has an oil cooler fitted but I can't remember.

To be honest I don't have the time or the space to start taking it apart to find out, hence why it's up for sale so cheap (actually less than I paid for it a year ago in the same situation)

it might be a bit of a risk, but at the price if it is forged you'll have a bargain!

to save any more emails asking the same question (I've had 5 today already!) I cannot confirm that the second engine is forged. I bought it taking a gamble and have priced it accordingly for the next person.

I will not take the engine apart to find out as I don't have the time or the space to do it. If I did then I would either be keeping it for parts or selling it on at forged prices.

Good grief a name from the past

Living in Livingston now, but one engine is currently in Falkirk and the possibly forged one is in Kincardine.

As the RB320 lives in the garage over the winter there's naff all space for anything else in there, so I've got bits stashed all over the place

I don't use it nearly as much as i used to, but I'll probably never sell it

Got several boxes of T series bits (mostly pipe work), but most of them are probably only good for scrap
