Guy's I have the last parts of my well known rallycross MGZR up for sale, the shell.
I also now have the remaining bare shell available.
Completely stripped shell before it was painted (pics below) All sound deadening / extra weight removed, none sunroof model, races seat mounts, vertical hydraulic handbrake mount and belt eye mounts installed and included. approx. 100 man hours spent at least on body prep. Obviously this has done 1 seasons racing, but still in good condition (ever so slight knock on drivers rear qtr)
This also incudes it's MSA logbook @ £100
NOTE: Shell will need transporting on a trailer and is no longer a rolling shell (based in lancashire). 4 people can lift no problems and I can help with the loading from my side.
Fully stripped and mounts installed

I had it reserved for a while, but I have the same issues as Si, Space...james3990 wrote:This is screaming out for Cableguy!!!
If its still here in a few weeks when I have cleared some cars out, then I will be having it
Until then, someone gets a great deal if they buy it.

Very interested in the roll cage mate.
Do you have any additional images. Is it sectional or is it one piece? Just thinking about transporting it back.
If it helps i can PM you my email addy to send them to, Just let me know.

Evening Garry.
Yes the cage splits in 2, rear section from the B-pillar backwards inc main hoop.
You would really need a mid / large van for collection, something like a transit (or a very large 4x4 / people carrier)
This picture shows the lower joint, and if you can imagine the same at the top of the loop.

The rear bolts onto the rear inner arches, as per this pic (ignore the pink bubble wrap, didn't want to scratch anything when installing)

The cage has 1 "x" section on the main hoop and 1 diagonal brace from the rear hoop>rear P/S mount section

It also has dual drivers door bar's for Rallycross reg's, lower one is removable if you wish

You will need to fabricate some new mounting plates as obviously the originals are installed into my shell, but they are very simple mounts on the ZR.
Hope that shows everything about the cage.
Si
