Hi Dan - sometimes you've got to go backwards to go forward modifying cars. Just need the money to complete what needs to be done to the engine. Another LSD will be bought again next year when funds allow.

Hi Alex - pm me with an offer and we'll see how it goes from there.

I'd just take more time to complete the build tbh Mike, you're only going to drop a good few hundred after spending £800, with the general theme of parts, you'd be lucky to get 5-600 back. To then go back to quaifeyou'll be spending £1000-1100 that time, plus any price increase they have within that year.

Yes your right - I'm just getting a little bit frustrated things are not progressing fast enough due to limited funds. All considered I think I will put a hold on the build and wait till finances improve and withdraw the Quaife lsd from sale. Restoring 385 as well doesn't help either but I know it'll be worth it in the end.

Sensible move. I have good advice, but I'm no shining example!

Sounds like you might need to amend plans if funds are limited. I know having a car project is great and all but it isn't looking like much will turn around in the next 5-10 years. The world seems like it will continue to eat itself tbh, so an upturn in trading etc will be a hard slog.

Having a cool car that requires loads of fuel all the time isn't the best recipe for such times!
