Text fader for webpage

Post by Rover220CoupeTurbo »

Hi,

I am trying to find some sort of way of fading text in and out on a webpage. I have found some free Java applets but I need something that can have a trasparent background.

Anyone good with this sort of thing?

Thanks

Do you want a continuous effect or just when the mouse is over the text ?

It did have a transparent background but it's changed when I saved it.

It's ok, I just put it into a web page template and it works ok.

What I need is for different text to be show. Its basically testimonials and I don't have enough room to show as many as I would like, so I wanted a few to show, the to fade to some others.

you need dreamweaver, its got all the tools.

creating something simple like fading between images isnt too hard to do, you can fade between a picture of some text, a blank slide, and then the other text, itd look quite professional IMO

Technically you need flash, dreamweaver is just a html/css editior :P

What your talking about is Studio 8 for the latest, or Studio MX 2003/2004 for the full suit.

Whats wrong with just using an animated gif?
