Don't get me started on the winds!

I'm in the North East of Scotland, which is getting battered by the worst winds as I type.

The lights have been flickering, trees have been falling down, and the wind is drowning out the TV!

This is hell!

Still, it could be worse, I have family members in Dundee/Surrounding Area which are without electricity just now.

Really like the pic of the wind turbine. I know it's being in the right place at the right time, but that's a seriously good picture.

Hope you and your folk all keep safe up there

It's calmed down now. It was crazy earlier. It hit 90mph where I live. Went to take the dog for a walk earlier and that was a real struggle. Just stayed in all day. The Sky dish kept moving about so I kept losing signal. Defo the worse we've had for as long as I can remember.

That was the worst i've ever seen the wind where I live, though I have been in worse on Orkney. Part of my panel fence was ripped off in the garden when the wind actually snapped the 4" post aswell as the rope tying the top to the neighbours tree, then I was wrestling with the remainder of it as it was being blown against the heat pump fan unit, which would have easily been toppled over and ripped from its pipes.

I was slightly panicking at the thought of those gusts on all the solar panel installations we'd put in this year but no bad reports the next morning :scared:
