Re: Facebook Group
Have to say baz, I think it's been a great success so far, with a lot getting on board and embracing it.

this was only put in place to stop the influx of randoms signing up to sell spam, raybans and vibratorspengy_666 wrote:I joined but left once I realised posts had to be approved before they were visible.

Re: Facebook Group
Daily
Attempts anyway
4-5 randoms attempting to join that clearly are not actual people
Once approved once by an admin then posts are no longer subjected to be approved from that point going forward robin
Rejoin and i will approve you personally

I think this thread might have broken Facebook,
The sudden rush of Rovertech members has overwhelmed the Facebook server!

Re: Facebook Group
I get that Greg and yeah well done fast approval.....
My problem is not you, I just don't understand why you can be accepted as a member to the group but posts have to be approved.
I know there are spammers etc out there but surely once the person becomes approved my admin that's the end, like a forum and every other group I use on Facebook.
I only have this approval with RT, to move forward surely as a group it should be like the others.
It's an annoyance and off putting as a member, it wasn't a reflection of me requiring any parts, it was a judgment on my experience of the use of the group, nor was it a reflection of your job as a volunteer in moderating the group.

Re: Facebook Group
purely based around sales robin
null or bazr can clarify further
it just simply doesnt give you the option to auto approve members you ( i me anyone ) knows on anything other than the desktop web version of facebook
it was only very recently that trading was rife and it was to cut down on this uncontrolled and unsolicited aspect of the group and to protect RT in in general
again
bazr can be of more assistance. i am purely there to help out with posts and content
there are 500 members
anyway you are now approved and good luck with ecu search
