Would have one any day just love the style of them.

I once tried to "show a EVO up" down a country lane in my The series think it would of been a EVO 6 and never have I seen a car move so fast in my life! Just destroyed me! Love then quality cars.
That was the VIII FQ400, it is straight why such a big laggy turbo was used when a standard VIII MR 10.5in turbo mades 400bhp on a standard engine without all the extra mods that are on the FQ400. To be fair tho Mitsubishi themselves didn't do the car they just signed it off.

I think it was on the MLR there is a superb comparison between the FQ360 and the FQ400. I think it was PDF'd if anyone wants to read it
iirc the FQ360 pretty much murdered the FQ400 in most circumstances. Which i think they new, but wanted to prove it.

Yeah its still going as it was not done much to it apart from a full service the other week and the veins on the VNT started sticking causing limp mode. So used Mr Muscle oven cleaner and about an hour of my time and like a new one again :)

 brill Marty a mate if mine has one going cheap 150 model 3 door in black he wants 600 notes for it so for that price im sure it aint in the best condition. Just don't have the money spare at the min. He has a Volvo turbo for it and says it'll do 250 bhp once remapped just would require a beach clutch as it would produce twice the amount of tourque at the top end and be good for 160mph!! Tempted but all in good time.

Glad its nit caused you too much pain gonna have to definatly consider one sooner rather than later

You may find the injectors Max out before hitting 250 they would require different nozzles and you better of going with a hybrid VNT as it will spool quicker :)

For 600 notes defo worth grabbing

I thought it was really cheap yet to see it tho. Will have to get him to send some pics through it better still have a ride over to see it in the flesh he's only in huddlesfield i can imagen the injectors would be on there limit is heard a lot about the vnt turbos im all for low end spool would have to look a bit more into it. Wheres best to be the vnt turbo from?

Will check them out been a while since i had a look on there . Dakta on here used to work for them he would be the main man to take it to to remap it. The vnt sounds a good choice but i reckon it would be big bucks i could prob get this big Volvo thing off my mate for next to nothing so may have to give it a try and keep the vnt for a rainy day when money is better.

Apparently the only reason that was so laggy was because the turbo that was designed for the engine was supposed to be pushing more power but it was capped to 400hp or 410 or whatever i got this info from someone that used to work for Owen developements.
