That's quality. We soooo need a bigger forklift at work so we can do that.
Mind, I've seen a forklift lift up something WAY over it's maximum load rating and the only way to stop it tipping forward was to have about half a dozen people leaning off the back to counterbalance it

Having a counterbalance FLT license I know enough about FLTs to realise that the mast on the bottom truck would go high enough to lift that unit to that height anyway. I can't understand why they did it, unless they lifted it even higher after the picture was taken.

The forks here reach to about twice the height of the forklift I think, ie twice the height of the blue section of the truck. I reckon they'd be on their absolute limit if they did go that high, and were probably just short, but their ours is like the little orange one, rather than the yellow one so I guess it may be different.radddogg wrote:Having a counterbalance FLT license I know enough about FLTs to realise that the mast on the bottom truck would go high enough to lift that unit to that height anyway. The mast on the bottom truck would not reach that high,Its only a short duplex mast. Its nearly at full reach look at the carriage its nearly on its stops at the top.radddogg wrote:Having a counterbalance FLT license I know enough about FLTs to realise that the mast on the bottom truck would go high enough to lift that unit to that height anyway. Half my family are scaffolders, they cant do half the stuff they used to.
The best i saw was my brother in law half pissed from the night before on the apex of my neighbours roof in high winds and rain checking his chimney.
Awesome to watch but my sister went nuts !
He came down and just shrugged " been doing that for 10 years " he said ... Nutter

I usually have my firefox window open in a small window when at work, so obviously scroll past some stuff by accident and didn't see it.
