Can anyone contact mini_vtec
Ok, i've posted that i've had problems with this guy before and suddenly got a response but i still have no bits. I bought and paid for bits totalling nearly £100 over 6 months ago now and still no joy. I don't want to slag off another member as there may be genuine reasons but i was wondering if anybody else has had problems with this guy and if anybody could get hold of him in person to see what the hell is going on. I don't think i've been unreasonable giving him all this time and paying up front to see nothing for it? If someone out there can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Pretty pointless sending PMs if you're not getting them answered, sometimes bringing it out in the open is the only way to get things resolved, or at least warn everyone else they could have problems.lsa wrote:You should have pm'd him and maybe a mod before posting that mate, but if you have done it ive bought gear off him before with no problems.

I've pm'd him loads of times! Thats the problem. i'm not getting any answers again now. This is why i'm concerned. If you paid someone nearly £100 for parts you never saw and waited 6 months with no sign and just things i've been told by him with nothing that i can physically see to say he's telling the truth, would you not be a bit concerned?! Maybe you have plenty of money and can afford to loose it but i certainly can't. Also, if you read the post i did say that i don't want to slag him off i just wanted someone who can actually contact him in person not by email as he's not answering these, so maybe he has a genuine reason. But without this, it just looks to me like he's doing a runner with my money, surely you can understand that and see my concerns? It's not like i'm telling everyone to go out and lynch the guy, just asking if anyone else has had problems and if he could be contacted. Thats all.

Yeah, that was the last time i had a reply off him and contacted twice since without reply! Crack is that he says he's sent items and then i never get them. Contact him to see what's going on and he says he'll chase it up and get back to me but then no reply. Last time this happened i posted something like this and he suddenly contacted me and was sending the stuff the next day. That was over a month ago now and i've nearly got my car on the road just waiting for these bits and it's really frustrating!

to be honest, i'm having probs with him as well. ordered 2 coupe doors that after 4 weeks failed to materialise. kept having to pm him and kept getting told that they hadn't been sent yet as he didn't want them damaged. arranged for a refund, which in all fairness i got. I asked if he could send some rub strips and a lock actuator that i'm still waiting for. he claims they've been posted but after a 3-4 weeks they still haven't arrived. i guess i'll be trying to get another refund then!!!!

I just want to make it clear that i'm not slagginf off mini_vtec. That is not what this post was about. i just wanted to get some contact from him which i have now had. Although the matter is still unresolved, i'm still not having a go! i just want the bits i've paid for. That's all i ever wanted from the very start. Thankyou to those who have replied and tried to help as i did get contact. Thanks.

It does, but you'd of thought the person with the complaint would have followed it up saying it had arrived or not thoBeaker wrote:The tracking number posted in this thread says it has.mach1rob wrote:Has this arrived now then?Tomcat216T wrote:Thought I would bump this up rather than starting a new thread but a few weeks ago I bought a window mech and have not received it... despite it being sent next day delivery

The only reason I needed to bring it up was the three weeks it took to get here, but all is sorted now and arrived safely!
Cheers

You all need to remember that posting items is sometimes diffucult as sometimes the postage company, Mainly DHL (Parcel2go & Interparcel) does not pick the item up or loses the parcel,
I sell alot of car parts and items on ebay and use Parcel2go and interparcel and have times where they have lost my item and even when u go online and track the parcel it says it was delivered. They must mark it as delivered to cover there own back, Either that or a dodgy delivery driver.
Also these companies are a pain in the neck as they give you a day for collection and then they dont bother to turn up. Had that happen this week 3 times for the same parcel.
I also find it hard as I have 3 kids and a pregnant Fiancee so somedays I'm too busy to head into town to post items away if using the post office.
Just thought I would say my wee bit about postage.
PS. I am also buying parts off Mini_vtec and so far there has been no problem and communication between myself and mini_vtec has been very prompt.

thats the senders fault the ernest is on them to use a reputable courier that will deliver the said item, otherwise how would this chap know wether it was sent or not?
i recieved my item off mini_vtec without any problems so maybe this is an on-going dispute between him and the parcel company?
end of the day if he hasn't got time to post and can't offer delivery from a reputable seller he simply should say can't post must be collected or arrange the courier yourself...

You would think DHL was a big enough company to be Reputable.shellis wrote:thats the senders fault the ernest is on them to use a reputable courier that will deliver the said item, otherwise how would this chap know wether it was sent or not?

I'm just puttin my oppinion across as I also have had problems posting items, well mainly getting items picked up by the couriers.
It probably a common problem using budget couriers, but I use them to keep the postage prices down and the customers happy.

I bought a dash on mini_vetec and did take alittle longer than first stated with delivery but always had good communications and told me exactly what was happening and the dash was in top order on delivery. He was on alittle while ago and offered me some rad mounts for nothing as i was after them.
So to sum up ive not had a problem with him, could be a genuine reason for your parts not turning up

Will, what you're saying is logical, but nothing like that takes a year to sort out.
I don't do much selling, but when I do if something goes wrong then I offer refund/replacement as soon as the item is confirmed lost, and then sort things out with the carrier.
