My mum (RIP)
On Saturday 22nd March at 21:40 my mum lost the 14 month fight against cancer, my dad, my sister and me were at my mums side went she slipped away to a better place.
I'm still coming to terms with her death and i think i'm still in some kind of shock.
Not only did my mum die that night, my wife was rushing to be with me at the hospital put £50 of petrol in my SDi and killed that...
Its not till now you realise how many lives 'one life' would be affect.
Thanks for reading this post, Marco.

So sorry to hear that dude.
I hate to think of what I'd be like if I were to loose one of my parents. Unfortunately you (or maybe just I) take them for granted but I know if I were to loose one I'd be a mess.
RIP Marco's mum.

Sorry to hear that Marco.
My father has been struggling with cancer for 10 years, and once in a while it pops up and has to be treated. This last session during autumn and winter nearly killed him and that makes one think.
Hope you and your family gets through this rough period.

Really crappy mate you have my sympathy.. my dad passed away last August on my birthday very unexpectedly and was a complete shock to everyone as he was really fit and only 62... I still haven't come to terms with the fact he won't be walking back in the door anytime soon, I sometimes wonder would it have been easier for me and my Mum if he'd been i'll prior to that day so we'd at least have come to terms with the possibility.
The impact it will have I'm sure you won't be able to comprehend right now but I hope you stay strong and can be happy for the time you did have.

My sympathies to you and your family Marco.
A very close friend lost his father back in January, he was only 62.
Am sure you will have difficult times ahead but stay strong and lean on your family and friends.
Best wishes to you all

Marco,
My thoughts are with you, I too went through a very simular situation last year when my partner lost her mother to cance at the age of 54.
Echo the thoughts of others, you may be sitting there thinking how to cope, but with time, it does get easier, some people will say it will eventually get back to normal, but the three best bits of advice i got were...
It NEVER gets back to normal, you just have to adjust to what the new normal is
As each day passes, it gets slightly eaiser, time is the biggest healer
Celebrate, don't comisirate, your mother i'm sure had a wonderful time, and gave so much to this world, now, more than ever is a time to celbrate that, remeber the good things, smile at some of the arguments, but ensure you always remeber her for what she gave this world!
May she Rest In Peace
