shouldnt it be que for the next available pump tho? I think this comes down to a matter of opinion as there seems to be no official guide.
What i did get once was while backing into a pump slot some tit drove forward into it.


Another one of mine is poeple driving down the wrong side of the road to jump queues at roundabouts.
I did catch someone great doing this a while back. Guy was happily driving down wrong side of the road playing dare so I took I nice wide swing out of the nursery car park (I wasnt on the main road this time) and plonked my car in front of him, forcing him to come to a sharp stop on my nose. I then sat with hand on horn as everyone sat waiting on the correct side of the road looked at him and laughed while he slowely, and sheepishly backed up the road till he could get back on his side!!

No my view is you pick a pump and queue. Why? not all pumps have all fuels, I won't use a pump that requires me to drag the hose across my boot lid and there isn't room for 10 cars to queue in single file at most petrol stations as is sometimes necessary.
