Surely you're not obstructing justice on a crime, you're preventing a crime from happening, which surely can only be a good thing?

I have heard of this sort of thing before (including somebody getting point on their license for putting up a sign warning people, how that worked I have no idea), I just think it's absolutely bloody stupid though.
It's a requirement for the cameras to be visible I thought, so it's not like he was doing anything the police weren't doing.

I always give oncoming traffic a flash of the lights if there is a speed trap, on the basis that if they slow down to the speed limit then a crime has been averted, which is the purpose of speed traps isn't it, well no, to answer my own question the purpose of speed traps is to arse rape motorists because it's such easy money, and requires minimum outlay, cynical....me

I don't let other drivers know these drivers who break the speed limit should be fined around here every one breaks the limit and it's cost me traveling time eg. the villages used to have 40mph limits but these inconsiderate speeders drove though at 45/50mph so the council lowered the limit to 30mph [ which makes me drive slower hence taking longer] now they drive though at 35/40mph, if they did this in the 1st place the council would not have lowered the limit.
