Paypal scam?

Anyone else had an e-mail off paypal today?

Basically i've had an e-mail from a paypal e-mail address saying this...

Dear PayPal Customer,

We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved.

We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal
account. We want to work with you to get your account back to normal as
quickly as possible.

What's the problem?

We want to make sure that no one has logged in to your account without your
permission.

https ://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/helpweb?cmd=_help

If you see a payment that you don't recognise, let us know by going to the
Resolution Centre. Click "Dispute a Transaction" to report an unauthorised
transaction.

Reference Number: PP-723-827-384-781

How you can help

It's usually quite straightforward to take care of these things. Most of
the time, we just need some more information about your account or latest
transactions.

To help us with this and to find out what you can and can't do with your
account until the issue is resolved, log in to your account and go to the
Resolution Centre.

Yours sincerely,
PayPal
But when you click the supplied link and it opens up the paypal login page, which looks identical to the paypal one, the address bar at the top isn't a paypal address. Scam?

This is the link; http://integratoriblog.com/wp-includes/ ... /login.htm

When I'm not sure I delete it, if it's important they will contact you again. One other thing I always do is ingore the link they send [even if it's genuine] and go to Favorites/Browser and get connected that way.

Paypal ALWAYS start email messages with your registered name, not your eBay linked account or Dear Paypal Client etc...

I got one the other day on a similar line but it started Dear Client and had three "speeelling misteaks" too

+1

If it's a genuine account affecting email, it will be on the resolution pages or as a notice when you log in :)
