Ebay is just ruined. What a waste of time it is trying to find anything. I was looking for a portable dvd player but the whole category is chock full of accessories rather than actual devices. I'm talking about 500 identical dvd cases all from the same seller. Then 300 chargers all from the same seller. Seriously? Am I so blind/moronic that I would have missed the first 499? Its about time ebay cleaned up its act and started penalising people for misrepresenting goods.

Re: eGay
you can use a standard search terms in ebay such as:
portable dvd player -charger -cases
to filter out the fields you don't want.

Kind of off topic but have ebay fees gone up? It seems like they're taking 10% commision from most things now, then coupled with the 3.4% + 20p paypal fee it's beginning to feel like a bit of a ripper. I sold some of my eldest lads DSi games on there yesterday. 7 games, £53.03 total sale value and he was left with £43.08 after the ebay listing fee, commision and PP charge had come off. Thats getting on for 19%
I was gonna sell a phone on there but at those prices they can lick my rim until I've exhausted all other options!

Yeah, you've got filter (both in the search terms and using the options).
I have wondered how a seller can afford to list so many indentical items. Even searching for Rover 800 parts I usually find an entire page full of springs, brake pads etc all from the same seller, all identical items.

About 2 months ago I was looking on eBay for a laptop, and although I'd selected "Laptops", not accessories or parts, I still had to siphon through about 2,000 parts before I got to laptops!

I think you can if you add the items to your basket first.Punx0r wrote:Has anyone else found that it's seemingly no longer possible to pay for multiple items at once?

Re: eGay
+1, its actually something ebay introduced that i like recently. In the past, you could pay for multiple items except when buying something that 'requires immediate payment', as this would take you direct to the paypal page.jmurray01 wrote:I think you can if you add the items to your basket first.Punx0r wrote:Has anyone else found that it's seemingly no longer possible to pay for multiple items at once?
Now you can add away willy nilly.
Paul.
