I have a love hate relationship with the films.

In some respects there's a comic book quality to the films. The characters, the cars, the races and the chases are all "superhuman", and as a result entertaining. Unfortunately those qualities pale as a result of the atrocious writing.

Looking at the trailer I must admit i am curious. Looks like a section of the film takes place in the UK. The sight of a MK1 Escort and a Jensen interceptor is interesting.

they shot a lot of night scenes on Glasgow and London I want to know how it all bloody ends

they filmed a chunk of this in Glasgow at night... with police cars that looked to be Metropolitan force so I guess set in London


They are a bit silly... but the cars, stunts and action more than make up for it

There was a modified citroen c2 on eBay a few months back that featured in the film.

Parts were also filmed in the Mersey tunnels between birkenhead and liverpool in the film they go in the tunnel and come out at Wembley stadium. The chases are filmed in Glasgow.

I know this as my mums fella is maintenance manger in the hotel they where staying in
