NFC to ACCEPT Contactless?

For things that don't fit into a category. i.e. non-motor related subjects.

NFC to ACCEPT Contactless?

Post by lennox1185 »

Hi guys and girls. Been a while since I've been on here but I'm after some help and always found this place a useful source of assistance!

I'm after an app or something similar that allows me to request and accept a contactless payment using my mobile phone. This is for personal use, not business.
The question has popped up because I organise a weekly football match between colleagues and then have to go around chasing the money, and numerous guys have said it would be good if I took card!

So I have done some searching and found various companies like Square and Paypal but they all require you to buy a NFC reader. Surely there's an app that can use the NFC on my phone to request a payment (even if I have to pay 2% or something for the pleasure!).

Most of the results on google are using my phone to pay. I want to receive!

Any suggestions please!?

Thank you.

Surely they can just use PayPal to send you money?

Set up bank transfers if it's the same people. Barclays app is so easy, my daughters have different banks and they do it all the time with their friends.
