what will your next car be?

For things that don't fit into a category. i.e. non-motor related subjects.

Pulsars are very good value at the mo, hence why i have one.

NSX is a pipe dream, but i would imagine another of the japanese super 5.

(skyline, Supra, RX7, GT4, pulsar(though i have a pulsar))

or a 2008 camero. 8)

My answer to this question would vary on a weekly basis.

This week I have been looking at MK2 MG ZS 180's and Volvo V70 T5 R's

Not sure what I'll end up with next, something definately turbo'd. I've always wanted an Escort Cossie, maybe in a couple of years.

No idea really...I don't usually keep cars as long as I've kept the Vitesse! My other half's workplace might be moving which would involve her using the train instead of her car, so we may end up selling both our cars and getting something for both of us. She likes the look of the Golf R32...so I don't think I'll be too disappointed with that! She has a Polo at the mo, so she likes the brand. But she also likes the Civic Type R's, but I wouldn't want one of those, too manic to drive. And she hates Audi's so they're out of the question too! So a Golf it is lol

My plan is to keep hold of the 75 for the next three years, then dependant on finances it could be anything from a Prelude to a NSX to an Bimmer M5. Ultimately I would like to work up to a Maserati quattroporte. although that may be a long way away :(

But I'm planning on putting a few quid away til the summer and tracking a d16 dohc powered car for the weekends- 216/416 gti, civic or CRX :D

Honestly, I'll probably be keeping the ATR for as long as I can.
I'll likely be buying a house next summer, so money will undoubtedly be tight, therefore I'll have to wait and see.

At the mo there's 3 options...

a) Keep the ATR and the g/f will have the sensible economical car... saxo atm, probably to be replaced with a yaris or something in years to come.

b) Sell both cars and get something economical and big, doing the job of both. If this is the case it'll be something like an Accord 2.2 derv, ZT 135+, something along those lines.

c) If money's ok and we only need one car I'd love a DC5. Bit more sensible and fuel efficient than the ATR.

Well, seeing as I can't think of any good reason to ever sell the coupe, I'll be sticking with Rover for a while lol. Wont get anything for it as a stripped out shell so not worth selling and if I dont want to pay insurance etc for it I just sorn it and leave it to sit for a while, wouldn't be the first time.

As for next car, well not had the golf that long though it is quite high mileage and I've been neglecting it, MOT next month and I'll get it harshly serviced at the same time, see how it feels after that, it has been an excellent car so far.

If it had to go, it would be another diesel of some sort. tbh a lower mileage/newer GT TDI would do nicely, perhaps a 130 or 150 next time rather than the 110 I have now, or maybe just remap the current one to 130

If I had an upturn in cash and didn't have house/wedding etc to be spending it on then I'd be tempted to get another quick daily driver, Ver 6 Impreza Type R would be the cheaper option, or with a bit more cash a 22B, always fancied an Exige with a Supercharged Civic Type R engine though for a laugh, I'll keep that for an early life crisis lol.

Like most , dnt think i cud let go of the Tubby, think its a mix of fun to drive but more so the time, sweat effort, blood tears, abuse, heartache that goes into it LOL

Though the new Camaro does look nice!

Though if i one of the jobs i been applying for, BMW 735/740 Sport! Not a lot of money for the car!

Haha he's just being a girl. In reality, around our parts the Pulsar has a bad image - since there are very many driven by loony chavs with saved up dole dollars. Can't fault the engineering, and he can get free work done on that SR20 motor, what more do you want!!!! 300 brake in 5 minutes? :D
