Dunno what your current stanse is Rob really from the mixed opinions in this thread, but i would be interested in some CF covers, Spoiler , Roof panels and wing mirror covers for the coupe if you can get hold of them. I can supply the panels from my car to make a mould :)

right basically the moulds for coupe bonnets boots and roof panels have already been made . ( they are the expensive part .)

aload of us rcoc guys bought the moulds off jason36 whos emmigrated to ozz last year .

and i organised the group buy on bonnets and boots etc not that long ago .

the moulds are the expensive part . ie a intial set up fee etc .

so seems silly making them twice .

and rob has the mould for the roversport grill etc . and hes looking at getting them done for mirror etc

we have no interest in getting little things like that made up . cus its just time consumming etc . and when it comes to it people say yeah ill have a set etc etc , but when it comes to putting there hand in there pocket its a totaly different story . lol

hence why group buys usually fall through .

i will be having a set of coupe wing moulds made in the future. but again they aint cheap 400 pound a side just for the moulds

and the only advantage of them is no rust no weight advanatge really compared to bonnet and boots and panels etc .

seems pointless as you can pick up bran new wings for 50 pound still etc .

anyways . if you want a set of carbon fibre panels ill get a price for you , but you will have to pay a 50 percent deposit due to the cost of carbon fibre etc

Ditto timelines for other "one-off" components like wing-mirror covers, jap arches etc.
Im still interested in a cf grill, and possibly wing mirror covers. Ive also got a spare fibreglass coupe roof spoiler (needs a repair as its cracked in the middle) that could be used for moulding purposes if enough interest could be gained in getting these made up in carbon fibre as well.

Cheers

That's cool. I did actually think about the rear window top spoiler but then someone told me Motobuild (or similar) already do a grp one. Also it would be hard to do it in one piece of CF due to the width - I think they're just over 1.5m which is the typical CF cloth width available.

Would be an easy mould though.

Hi, yeah I had a few different bits and bobs made up over the summer, including wing mirrors, rubs strips and a CF bonnet and a few other bits. Going to try to do the tailgate next (for hatch).

Didn't bother trying to organise a GB as the comments up here weren't that promising TBH.

I'll post some pics up when I get round to fitting them all!

Hi,

I was never "selling" them as such - I had some moulds made earlier in the year and just wondered if anyone was interested in a GB, using the moulds.

Given the general lack of interest a GB was not feasible. I wasn't interested in making any £ so TBH not that motivated to do this.

The guys who lay the CF up for me are busy with race-prep stuff for next season now. Feb/March time I will be getting a few more different bits made. I'll bump it up then.
