Thanks for organizing the meet, sorry we got there so late and missed a few of you but was nice to meet you all and have a look at some of the cars(I want another coupe now) but hopefully will try and get to as many as I can afford to get to! Here are a few pics I took:

That ZS was beautiful. Never seen one in that colour before.

And like I said on the day about the Metro, for such a little car, that's a big noise :D

Well, here's a stange one!

The purple 200 coupé (T261***) - that's the car I travelled to Eastbourne to look at (should have bought it!)

The Gold 25 GTi (X426***) - that's the car I bought instead!

All we need now is my old ZR to show up and you have all my old running MGR's at one meet! :D

I take it you're Paul, the Metro owner?

I've never been in a VVC Metro. Any chance of a quick passenger ride at the next meet?

Yep, thats me :)

Shouldn't be a problem, if you can get down to the MG-rover meet on sunday I think im taking it down there as long as the weather is ok, if the weather is wet/logger then no point going for a ride as I dont get any traction!

Yeah, I've never seen one in that colour. It looks black until you get up close. Alcantara seats too? Liked the 2nd exhaust cut out as well.

Thanks :) I have a green 420T in my garage currently undergoing a restoration. The red one was initially bought as a runabout but turned out too good to just use and abuse. It was lovely initially but now needs the rear sills welding. Apart from that, it just needs my other Hairpins painting and it'll be pretty nice.

Paul, I'll see what I can do. Not sure what my plans are for this weekend.

Oh, I noticed quite a hefty oil leak covering the front of your block/gearbox. What's that from?

Camshaft oil seal, I have the part sat here to fix it but as the car is a daily, I can't really take it off the road to change a seal I haven't changed before until monday next week, weather dependant. If you know anyone who can help and local to me, I would love to hear from them!

Yeah, I can do most things but as I dont have a haynes for a vvc, I dont really know how to change the seal correctly. Plus, if it doesn't take long, I could do with putting a new cambelt on too
