BMC/BL Rally and spares day - Anyone going?

Post by harkins77 »

Seeing as it's this weekend is anyone attending Ferry Meadows this weekend?

http://www.neneparktrust.org.uk/news-events/bmcbl-rally

I'm going down with the GTi and will be with the 200/400 owners club.

I'm sleeping over on the Saturday night hopefully next to GBS100 and hoping he isn't going to have another run in with the Mini Owners Club again this year.

Hope to see one or two of you down there. :)

I apologise if this is a repost.

It'll either be the white maestro turbo, or the blue 220 gti turbo.

Some pics from the weekend.

My car on pitch from the Sunday

GBS100's GTI

My home away from home minus the airbed which was missing the plug so I couldn't pump it up so the floor it was.

I didn't really take that many pics. I did take a few of other cars in the Rover 200/400 section but apart from that the only other cars I took pictures of were these.

And then there was this interloper onto the stand.

My wheels were washed before I set off!

My fault for having really dusty pads and white wheels I suppose.

Seeing as the Pol gathering was a good one.

How do people feel about doing this one as well?

I'm going to be going (permission pending from Mrs.H) camping over the night before on site on the Saturday.

Would be good to see others there. Not only that there is a chance to buy some stuff with there being an auto jumble on the Sunday.

Sorry it's 5th August is the auto jumble and the camping is on the Saturday. If you are going to go and camp over you need to print out and send off payment before the day so you can get the tickets before the day.

Yeah it'll be nice to wonder who's parked on the 200/400 stand again lol.

Could do with a couple more turning up for the camping as well as me and GBS100 were the only ones from the 200/400 who camped last year. We had to slum it with the Moggy Minor and Metro owners for a laugh.
