Might even be able to borrow a 18x24 big donkey boy tent, as a communal beer tent incase of inclement weather

If Lincolnshire is an option, there is the aircraft museum at east Kirkby (IIRC) that does day events etc.
And its supposed to be haunted for those that fancy a nightime ghost hunt lol
Or there is always Elvington, and i can square away camping as my folks live 10 mins away and have a mahoosive field behind the house that they co-own with next door

And it's 120 miles from here. Thing is some will have to travel can't have it on everyones doorstepuusmatt wrote:Quite. 150 miles each way from sheffield!!!!!BlueRover wrote:Gaydon is central to where exactly ?Skatiechik wrote:Gaydon + Pub always seems a good meet location, just due to its central location, easy parking and time to look around the museum.
The last poll for people's locations gave the following results :mach1rob wrote:Gaydon is a good suggestion, however I can see those further up north and in Scotland saying tis a bit far south to attend tho, so somewhere thats roughly dead central maybe better???
34% (36 people) Midlands (down to Watford Gap)
22% (24 people) South east (from Salisbury going east, inc East Anglia)
10% (11 people) Wales
9% (10 people) South west (from Salisbury going west)
9% (10 people) North (north of Selby)
6% (7 people) Scotland
4% (5 people) Europe
0% (1 person) Ireland (North & South)
0% (1 person) Other
So the location should reflect those results. In any case, if you look at a map of the UK, the dead centre would somewhere near the Scottish border... which would be a bit of a trek for the 31% of people from SE and SW, as well as for those from South Wales...
Why don't we meet up somewhere near Longbridge?

Oh yeah. I would be up for that without a doubt.
Whether my car is available is a different matter. Better finish the electrics.
Has to be a weekend for me though, as no holidays left.
