Swindon Meet in the next few weeks?

Post by Vard66 »

I'm thinking of sorting out another Saturday afternoon meet at the Sun at Coate Water again, or another local pub.

I know Din's game, Roger's down and I'm there, but who else is up for it, and when can you do?

If it was a Sunday I'd be up for it as long as you don't mind an old Montego countryman joining in!

Depends on the day you choose. I keep missing the white horse events but if possible I'd come along.

Well, I can get more or less any Saturday off, with only a few days notice.

Only weekend I can't do anything is the 23rd and 24th July, as I'll be on the continent for the Rally.

Just keeping the thread going for interest. I presume this is still on? I'm hoping to have all my brakes sorted today and a few other bits and pieces ready for next weekend.

Also, I hope you don't mind but I've made the south west members on .org aware of this as I usually organise meets for us over there.

Aye, it's still on.

What sort of time are we thinking is best?

Dan, Rog and I can be there at any time, really, as we intend to have a few beers the night before!

Ok, well I suppose Rog and I can be there whenever, so we'll probably head there for about half twelve or one.

What a way to pop the rovertech forum meet virgin bubble! As above - "Eventful" But to add it was not my wiring! The installer was the guilty party.

On the positive side, good to meet you all and thanks for the sympathy? laughing? lol It broke the ice anyways.
