Trailing arm tool

Post by 220Lee »

I've got a Franklin tools trailing arm tool, part number TA993 used to remove and install the large bushes on Rover and some Honda's without removing the arms, i snaped it up years ago when i saw it for sale, leant it to couple of friends (who no longer have rovers) but never used it myself then put it in the garage and forgot about it.
I came across it today while looking for something else and thought i'd ask you guys if its worth much then stick it on ebay. So what's it worth? :)

Cheers

First I've heard of one of these! Any chance of a photo? What did you pay for it?

Not surprised you've not heard of these, i got these when i had my first rover back in '05 and they hadn't been available for quite a while before that, i bought it second hand i think i paid around £80 but it could have been £60 (it was a long time ago), which i think was a bargain at the time, as i'm sure they were around £120+ when new.
Unfortunately the instructions have gone missing since i last looked.

Always done it with a hammer  but that looks like a really nice way of doing it

Oh and id say its easily worth what you paid for it, the only similer thing new on ebay is about £200.00.
