1.8 K series TF135 Spec ( but not a genuine one )

Post by BazR »

As title, considering selling and wondering what the going rate is.

Uprated oil rail and MLS gasket, shim. All gaskets, etc where replaced around 2 years ago and barely 15,000 has been put on the engine since the rebuild. No exspence was spared and all the work was carried out with myself. Other bits to mention.

Few pics I had of the unit itself.

Is it a full 135 engine, or a 120 engine built up with 135 cams/inlet/TB added?

The original 135 engines are supposed to have the uprated '160' pistons with thicker ring lands.

I paid £250 for my last 135 engine which I thought was a bargain, would have thought it'd be worth £400ish.

Its was a std 1.8 with the TF camshafts and the inlet added. The engine itself had around 60k on it before I put it in the bubble.
Im not set on selling or anything, I just wondered while its out there, what it is worth.

Thanks for replies so far gents.
