First time I've seen the hills around Bridgend/Maesteg, having just M4-ed it to Llandow before. Fabulous scenery - I'm going back in July for some mountain biking!!

Great stuff, was looking at the scenery yesterday having driven from Charente on Saturday and going to Le Mans; always gives me the "welcome home" feeling. I can't claim Maesteg as being too local; spent an awful lot of time there though with the missus

Southerndown and Ogmore-by-Sea are more my thing, fatanstically beautiful with twisty 60 zone roads - not ideal for pushbikes of course, but you could have some fun on your way there!
What was the meet like chaps?
Was tempted but the Maestro is long away from being road-ready, so Roverless, and was indulging in a spot of French
