Let's start a new thread

I'm thinking of a meet at the Forth bridges. Nice and central for most I think. Great views there and plenty of places near by for a munch. There's the two bridges restaurant/bar place where we met up a few years back. Let's just hope the weather is decent.

Baz, if you're thinking of coming along there's a Premier Inn just up the road. Decent place to put your head down for the weekend. Nice and clean and prices are reasonable. Sometimes they do cheap deals so keep your eye out.

Only 20 min to Edinburgh Baz if you fancy going to see the city and doing touristy stuff or you can get a train through to Edinburgh as there's a station near the hotel.

I'd be up for going for a wee drive afterwards and a photoshoot. i'm sure we can find a decent spot.

Let's make this a big turnout guys. It's been a couple of years since we've had a decent meet. Hopefully some of the southerners can join us.

Scottish All Rover Rally is on that day at Falkirk Wheel Rav, nobody fancy that? I'll have both cars there, would be good to see some other more modern meat there.

I did contemplate the Sarrs meet but a few of us opted against it so thought we'd arrange a separate meet.

The forth road bridge isn't very central Rav that's why I mentioned Falkirk as we have to think about where every one lives

There's only 20-25 min between both places. I think it's pretty central plus we're had meets there in the past and always been a good number of people turning up. I know some people are going to SARRS so we'll get a bit list. Even if it's just a mini meet, it'll be a good laugh. Falkirk wheel has been done to death and it's so boring there imo but if people want to meet there then I can do that.

Hi, would it suit better to have this in june.. and in a central location as steve (m4cwo) suggests..

maybe go back to the strathy park idea, or if we hit on a w/end that's going to be good "weather wise" try loch lomond, good for some pics

the 29th is best date for me mate,but im ok with a meet elsewhere depends on everyone else,it is more central than the bridges is it not?

we all need to sort out whats happening do we not?i know Rav put the post up but there are more central locations we could meet,the way its going theres only going to be 5 people going would more come if it was in a diffrent place?

i would like to see as many people as possible come along,and really want to get location sorted out asap so theres no more changing things,i like to know whats going on in advance rather than leaving things to last minute.

im not tryin to control things just want everything sorted.

I really arent that fussed where it is, but the 29th is perfect.

Falkirk wheel is more central, but I think a lot of people have been there, done that. Bridges is something different.

the bridges arent central to every one as we have to think about other members in glasgow unless the glasgow members are happy to travel to the bridges ?

Glasgow is only 30-40 min from bridge. I might not be able to make it now. Apparently relatives from London are coming up that weekend. Not seen them since I was 10 years old!

If you split the distance between Glasgow and Edinburgh would that suit more people
you could go south to New Lanark, Moffat, Biggar or North to Callander stirling or anywhere in between
So we need suggestions from people and then see what's the most popular
If somewhere nice count my brother and me in so 2 x vitty coupes
