Le mans 24 2012 Rover Clubs road trip

The 80th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours will take place on the 9th & 10th June 2012 (provisional race dates).

For us plan for the whole weekend

Leave UK 7 June
Night practice 8 june
Race dates 9/10 June

We will have a Private Trackside Campsite at the Porsche Curves

There is buses and taxis running for the full weekend to get you anywere on the track you will not have to stay at the campsite the whole time your ticket is for the full race weekend and viewing form anywere but grandstands

This private campsite will offer:

- Secure fenced campsite with staff in attendance 24 hours
- Private serviced showers and toilet blocks
- 7m x 5m camping plots for your tent and vehicle
- Hospitality marquee with pay bar and big screen tv
- Breakfast available to purchase each morning
- Public viewing bank on the Porsche Curves to the rear of the campsite

All of the prices below include your choice of channel crossings, general enclosure race tickets and a permit to camp on the campsite.

£349.00 £199.00 Dover - Calais(Ferry)

£359.00 £199.00 Folkestone - Calais (Eurotunnel)


RED = 1st person and car
Blue = Additional Passengers


The le mans track is 269 Miles from Calais on the shortest route with a few tolls

Can we have an equivalent to a pitch invasion? I.e. suddenly a logger load of MGR's enter the track :whistle:

Would love to go, but probably not cos of the sprogs.

Stopping off for a blast (well as much as you can on public roads :whistle: ) round the old French GP track at Rouen's meant to be good.

That sounds like the SpeedChills setup in the Beausejour campsite....

In which case I highly recommend it! :)

it's not speedchills other company i've gone with before very good

If anyone whats to come i'll give you a number and a booking ref to add it too the mine booking Deposits £85 to be paid in oct/Nov
