Mike, I can probably help you out with postage again if you like. I'll be collecting my discs direct from Rob/Si, so if you want in on the GB and want me to collect and hold until you find some calipers I'm happy to do so.

No problem it's easy enough to help. The calipers themselves would be best got through someone such as Tom. He knows what to look for, and seal kits are readily available in the unlikely even one of the caliper seals is ruined. You don't need Peugeot for anything after you've got them.

The calipers wouldn't give you any problems once received, and obviously pads would be pretty easy to order direct internationally anyway after the event. We'll be able to help with discs should you wear a set out.

You can feel free to PM me, i'm keeping on top of the PM train at the moment.

They're all R8's that's why , R8 is the wedge chassis.

I havn't fully commited yet as i want to see someone attempt to offer up the BRM wheel on Ttrw's set up just to know if it will fit? If it will go on with a 5mm or smaller spacer then great. If not im probably still going to be in definately, it's just that i'd have to wait to buy a set of nice 16/17" Rota wheels from Markcoupe, before i can fit the new set up to my car. I know someone who might be able to get me a set of calipers, and i'm waiting to hear back from his mate.

Whereabouts are you? I work in Rugby every weekday so if you can get a wheel to me we can try it on Rob's car and solve the BRM wheel quandry once and for all. Alternatively, Berger is potentially passing Brum on Friday and could collect the wheel?

Ok an update for those of you whom have subscribed. There is sufficient interest for the group buy to proceed, so that's good news. The quantity of deposits received to date has enabled Rob to get the fixings on order which were price-secured until the end of January, so thanks to the speedy payments of all of you.

One or two people have expressed interest in paying me in full ahead of the event, presumably just to make sure they've budgeted for everything. This is fine with me if it's what you want to do, but if you want to wait until February 12th - hey no problem.

Just a polite poke to get those of you telling me you're sure you want in to get your name down so Rob and I can start arranging some logistics!

Iv found a set for £60 at a breakers. all i know is there off a v6 coupe havnt actuly seen them . so was just wondering if they ever used other makes of brakes on the coupes. or is it a safe buy ? (i.e id be buying somthing that aint brembo)
