Right, I am ordering these tomorrow.

SammyP, if you still want in you need to get in contact ASAP either by paying or by replying to my PMs otherwise I will have to count you out - we still have enough for our 15+ pricing either way.

I am still in talks about the 800 line problem, if need be I will refund anybody who has paid for the 800 kit while we develop one, as there may be another group buy at a later date.

I will update tomorrow with an ETA, keep your inboxes empty and your PC close to hand as I will contact anybody if there is any last minute problems - but I think we are all set to go.

Thanks to everybody who has put their name down and paid for making this happen.

By the way chaps, just to aid my peace of mind, if you can glance at the table above and just check your colours and applications, in case I have messed up anywhere. If you do notice any problems or change your mind about the colour, you have till tomorrow morning to PM me and I will update.

Other than that I reckon you will all be chuffed with these, I'm very pleased with my set.

Next time you have another group buy, then please count me in for a set of clear coated lines 4pcs, for my turbo coupe. I will need them to be able to fit the Brembo group buy brake kit, so i don't know if i need different length front hoses to std ones?

Might be wrong, but I was under the impression that part of the reason for the use of those specific Brembo calipers was that fitment of OE lines could be achieved?

Either way, I'll be after 2 or 3 sets of lines when I finally get some work, so that would be half the required numbers already.

As stef says, the Brembodge kit uses the standard hoses, so no worries there.

The kits were all ordered today, and they estimate they will start making them early next week for despatch later that week. Once I get them I will post them out ASAP by recorded post so they should be with you fairly swiftly.

I'll update as things progress.

I haven't received any money via paypal, so I'm not sure where you sent it. :? I'm afraid this group buy is closed now as the order has already been placed, it’s a shame you didn't reply to my PMs I might of been able to save you a set! :(
bgunn wrote:Would be interested in a set for the MGF if they could be done...
They certainly can Brian, if all goes well on this group buy I'd be looking at running another one as I think there will be some interest and we are going to have a bash at getting some 800 lines made up, I'll put it up for a bit longer next time, so watch this space

If you do, I'll see if they can do just the rear pair of lines, or failing that just get a disc kit and swap the rears, then sell the old ones on as a drum kit. Normally a pretty good market for them s/h as well as they don't really deteriorate.

Just an update for everybody - I have spoken to them today. They are, as we speak, in the workshop with our group buy list making the order up.

Karl, Nope - don't get over to peterbo much, I have a goodridge dealer on my road if I need any odds or custom stuff. These come from source as even he couldn’t match on price. I think exact hoses are only zinc plated ends anyway tbh.

Matt. Sorry for the lack of updates.

Current state of play is:

I fired an email off to them earlier in the week but didn't have a reply (odd as they usually get back to me within a couple of hours). So I phoned them yesterday.

The setup is the car division is only one small part of the company, and when I phoned, I was told the guy that does that side of stuff is currently with a client out in Asia but will be back wednesday.

Now I know he gave the list and specs to the workshop to do as I spoke to him Thursday last week, so I assume (hope) they have been made and waiting on him to check and send them out. Unfortunately every question I asked the reception was met with.

"He deals with that, and will be back wednesday"

Which was less than helpful.

I'm a bit peed off in truth because nothing was mentioned about him buggering off this week when I spoke to him last, so I would hope it was some sort of emergency situation.

In either case as soon as he returns on Wednesday I will engage bollocking mode and get on the case. I can only apologise for the delay but there isn't much I can do about it. They may even be in transit as we speak

On the plus side everything is ready to go here, so as soon as they land it will be a case of a quick gratuitous picture of a pile of shiny and they will go straight out the door. I've chatted to the local Post Office to, so they know to expect a rush.
I will keep you posted as soon as I have more info.

Update

Right I have spoke to the supplier again, the guy is still off - (due back Friday) but I managed to get hold of somebody who knew what was going on this time.

As predicted the kits have all been made up and they are just waiting on a delivery of the Banjo bolts before they go out, which they are expecting today or tomorrow.

They will confirm dispatch by email, so I will update this thread as soon as I know.

Thanks for your patience chaps.
