Would work with Pug and Renaultsport Brembo calipers too.
just noticed this, how would they compare to the 326mm disc setup braking wise? id be interested in a set for the coupe, looked at your original kits but didnt fancy risking having to get rid of the rotas!
Yeah obviously they'd have reduced maximum braking torque compared to the 326mm kit, but I very much doubt anyone (even on track) runs full pedal pressure that often as the braking force is pretty awesome....so real world I doubt you'd see a difference. And as Dan says more likely the lighter D16 will help.

I think a 16" ROTA might fit over the 326mm kit though. A 16" Superleg would do....

Ouralfilmes, glad they got to you safely mate. They might look impressive off the car - but believe me they're best on! :)

Cheers

hmmm, ive taken a measurement as per method 2 from your project thread, think it would be enough to clear the 326's?

About the same spoke-offset as the MG-Straights, which I believe NeilBaker86 fitted with a 6mm MItus spacer.

Mitus made a kit using 316mm Bini discs and MGTF AP calipers. Search Mitus 316mm Cooper and I'm sure the project thread will come up

Not sure Grant. Do you have the lug spacing measurement? That would be the first qualifying point. :)

Quick question. Spacing out for a 25/ZR compared to the coupe. I've been told its 3 washers. However the problem I have is if I put a washer between the bracket and the hub then theres dangerously little thread to keep it there. Remove the washer and thus remove a washer from the spacing... Ala -

Image

Only reason I ask is, 3 washers fit as well and seem about the same!

There should 100% never ever be a washer between the bracket and upright. Whoever told you this requires extermination....

The bracket supplied and hub should be in contact. Have you referred to the instructions supplied?

That's the way mines are set up, bracket bolted to hub, no washers other than the one on the bolts but 3 in between caliper and bracket.

Is that correct?

ok two questions:

Whats rob's pm
how much is the full brembodge kit, on reading this initial price is just for the disc's and fixing kit. You have to pick your own calipers, brake lines, pads ect.

I am lazy, i just want a full kit

I don't think Rob will sell you a full kit unless he has a set of calipers, its easier for people to find them on their own and it allows them to get them cheap if possible!

I'd budget about $550-650 for a complete set, depending on what you pay for your calipers and choice of pads.

He is ttrw2, pm him buy clicking on his post a few above this one.

Sorry bud but u gonna hav to put some effort in, it's all available on fleabay if u are not about prices.
Unless someone has one for sale I doubt rob is going to outlay for everything given that some messed him around money wise with just the kit.

Or give Martin a call at reylands and take him a wad of cash with the car and he will fit them for u or spend some big bucks on a wilwood kit.
