Hello Guys, Gals, and Munkys.

Seeing as we are all about brakes this year, I've just bought a set of stainless braided lines from a supplier who is willing to do a group buy discount.

The 4 line kit arrived today for a bubble, I'll let the pictures do the talking. For an excellent fitting guide see James's post here







These lines are the real deal. It even came with stainless fittings and washers.

Unlike other line kits, these have stainless ends as standard - this means that the ends will never rust and they will always come undone if you ever need to remove them. This also means you can swap them from car to car should you want, or sell them on later. They last forever.

In addition you can choose from any of the following colours for no extra cost (default is "clear") - Pictures above are "Clear Green"


I paid £64 for the full price for one 4 line kit, this was cheaper than the goodridge kit with stainless ends which are about £70!!

Group buy prices are as follows:

Prices include postage, packing and delivery to your door by recorded camel.

The group buy will be handled by the RT shop. Bank transfer, cheque or paypal accepted. If you are paying by gaypal, either send the money as a gift or cover the charges!

But wait, it gets better!

The group buy is based on kits, so it doesn't matter what model you have, or if you need a 6 or 4 line kit. All we need is 15+ names for the full discount or over 5 for partial discount.

Any rover or mg model qualifies for this group buy, and we may even be able to fit a couple of non rovers on as well.

4 or 6 lines.. not sure if i follow you here.
Mine is a 620ti, what do i need?
Recall there is at least 3 parts of brake line to each front and 2 in the rears.
Have to take a closer look to be sure, anyone who knows?

You need a 6 line kit. Ti has two front hoses, two small rear ones that go from the callipers, and then two intermidiate hoses that go between the body and the trailing arm. That is if you want to replace all 6 pipes of course.

Do I just need a 4 piece kit for the 200?

Yes, all bubbles (200 and 400) are 4 line kits with the rears being different if they are drum or disc.

All R8 are 4 line kits.

600s are 6 line kits.

Really ASAP. The budget is set for the 22nd of this month, and of course if V.A.T goes up it will increase those prices - but probably only 5%. If we want to be totally sure we need to order before that date. It depends how quickly we can get names down tbh

forgive me n00b question, but im not too hot on brake lines, i've got a zr, but i'm going to be fitting a 620ti front brake setup, what the hell do i need? lol

Just the ZR kit, the 620ti callipers fit with the existing brake lines.

Yes kits not buyers, so if one buyer wants more than one kit then this counts as well. But I'm not sure why you have put down two kits? The 6 line kit does the entire 600, you don't need two kits!

I came to the impression that 6 lines was for the front only... and 4 more in the rear.

you're right, the only petrol model that had drums was the 1.4. both 1.8s had discs
