220 Turbo 715mile journey Newcastle-Portsmouth-Newcastle

Post by tyke71 »

Just been away for a few days and completed this journey as above and what a car. Last time it went on a long run was when i fetched it back from Sheffield, when it was on sorn at my parents. Apart from the grinding as it been sat for a while it as been a total pleasure and expeirance to drive. It was a long journey, but cruising at 75 and having all that power if needed was a dream. The car performed faultless for a 16yr old and worth paying the extra for super unleaded. Any slight decision about selling the car as totally changed my mind today after that performance, full credit too Rover for that engine. As soon as i get a house with a garage, it's getting a full respray and well looked after. No wonder these car will be a classis one day.

A big thankyou to ROVER MADMAN for helping me with the little problem i had with the car in October. :)
