Had to send 'katie off to 'The great Rover Dealership in the Sky' today
As the guy drove her off....the engine expired in a great cloud of smoke...!
Maybe it was meant to be....
Bye-Bye, Katie...I'll miss you.

I was thinking about it..but the more i poked around, the worse the dreaded 'tin worm' was.
Both sills, both rear quarter panels, under the hood, one of the chassis rails.
Maybe I'll get a coupe.

Sad news, but maybe it just saved you having to make a tough decision.

My cars have always had names...usually the number plate gives me the name...or something in the car's character, or colour.

Not to worry Phil
I didn't want to be negative in your other thread but lashing loads of cash at her didn't strike me as being a good idea, you can shop around now and find a minty car that you like. Rover or otherwise as someone above said do stay in touch

what have you got against honda's?
I thought you rover chaps loved them cos you can claim your cars are part honda, and thus better...
Phil - fair enough, never seen the point of it myself but each to their own. Only car I ever named was the sh*tbox... for obvious reasons lol.

Honda's are cool and just sit hand in hand with all the best Rover car's! They made our cars better, and we made thier cars popular and actually make people want to buy them cos of the Rover style cool we gave them!
I like any brand of car
except BMW's oh wait a sec i said car so thats ok that is exciting and decent to drive, Hell even the French have produced some of the best small fast cars that ever will be made! No Civic type R will ever have the feel or precision of a Clio Renaultsport etc! All the French did wrong was use paper and card for bodywork, but you can't have everything i suppose!
