thats mental, what an absolute disgraceful waste of good cars. i take it theres no loop holes involved where a scrappage scheme car could go back on the road? theres a few there id quite happily have...

Nope. All garages can do is park them up and line them up for crushing. There was a coupe turbo in my local arnold clark a few months ago, couldnt buy it. Couldnt even give them the money under the table.

Thing is i never realised how popular the scrappage scheme was. This isn't all of them, Just a small percentage from that area of the country. theres airfields all over the country looking exactly the same as that.

Theres a few cars in there worth more than 2K, Theres a burgandy Merc ML at the bottom aswell.

I can only spot 2 MG-R's though. The silver 200 bubble and a Tahiti blue MGF right in the top left corner.

Nah, you're probably looking at around £200 in steel and ally (excluding catalysts) after dismantling/separation.

how is it a waste? 14000 people who know nothing about cars have new cars, and all the 2nd hand ones have gone up slightly in value.

If they culled 10,000 rovers and all your cars went up in value by a few hundred, would you all still be whining?

On the plus side, it's got people spending money, borrowing and getting that economy started again.
