anyone read Evo? there is an 1800bhp audi coupe, fastest 1/4 in the UK.
it talks of a few other 1/4 milers after the audi review, mentions Andy's ZR as the fastest FWD @ 10.23.

Re: ANR mention in Evo mag
Awesome car, it's a shame that it all has to be so secret with the ANR car, as it would be really cool to get under it's skin and learn all about it with a very detail magazine feature and an interview with Andy. I don't think hardly anyone on here knows much about it's spec and exactly what is going on under the bonnet of that car, and seeing as it's one of the most popular Rover engines that we all talk about, it would be nice to know what the ultimate T16 consists of and what is needed to achieve these exceptional figures. I bet Andy has more than a few storys to tell about the development of this car and engine, and the hurdles he has hit and steped over during the years with it!

That turbo tigra from Andy Spec looks a hell of a lot faster than the ANR bubble so I'm surprised AndyN still holds the record.

Re: ANR mention in Evo mag
i had a good look around anr's bubble rover when i competed in 2008
he runs 3bar on the strip , set up looks more or less the same spec as vi turbo's
engine but he uses throttle bodies and a 200 shot of nos ! linked to a dta
ecu , i may be wrong but that's what it looks like to me
he also sets off in second gear to get traction off the line

Yes thats the thing, we could probably all guess what bits you would need to collect to put together a reliable 500bhp T-series turbo engine, but it's the extras and the details that Andy will have gone great lengths to research and experiment with, that really sets apart his project from the rest. Don't get me wrong anyone like Vi turbo, or Si420 that builds a really big power car must have alot of skill and talent for engine building and knowing what they need to do to get these results, but i just bet that there are more than a few bits of info and special tricks that we don't know about, and that Andy N has direct experience of that would be very nice to hear about one day!

Re: ANR mention in Evo mag
The best time Andy Spec has done is a 11.4 and that was last year, his fastest time this year is 11.6 what he done a TOTBdaz500 wrote:That turbo tigra from Andy Spec looks a hell of a lot faster than the ANR bubble so I'm surprised AndyN still holds the record.
He's still a long way off in drag terms
