whats the average price on scrap these days?? n any 1 know a rough figure on what id get for weighin a car in for example a wedge 214 si :lol:

Round here you' get between £50 - £80 for it for scrap

i have heard £160/£180 a ton dont forget to fill it up with water i got £140 for a 620ti with no engine

tht ay too bad is it tbf, n it would be supplied with a full tank of water :lol:

spotted 1 with some hairpins on tht i want n its dog rough so mite get it for rims n weigh in :lol:

i filled the interior up with water left the hosepipe in there for a good half hour :whistle:

£100/ton = 10p per kilo. Cement costs more than that and even I wouldn't spend an afternoon filling up doors for the sake of £2.50. Plus, if anything gets spotted they'll just tell you to FO, which is fair enough since it's fraudulent.

I got £100 for 780 KG of Xr4x4's MG ZR Turbo shell couple weeks ago. Whole cars here are £165 per ton.

How did you manage to get that much for a rover cat, everytime i try to weigh a genuine rover cat in i get told they're aftermarket cats and get offered £2 each so i end up keeping them. :?

I flogged a complete mk2 mondeo ghia estate to a local breakers just b4 xmas and got £160 for it. I could've broke it for more but cba. I was happy with the price cuz I only paid £250 for it with 10mth not and 8mth tax :D

kinda same as me, i paid £300 for the ti, got £160 back, so, £150 to drive it round for 2 year :lol:
