A nice Rover 220 Coupe turbo

Hi All,

I am currently trying to help an elderly gentleman who lives in my village find a nice Rover 220 turbo. He collects classic cars. His collection consists of a subaru impreza p1 in showroom condition, a series 1 rs turbo, series 2 rs turbo, fiesta rs turbo, renault 5 gt turbo, an escort cosworth. these are just a few to list.

This gentleman wanted to buy my immaculate white rover 220 turbo but at the time it wasnt for sale. when i decided to sell the car i went to his house loads of times to find he wasnt there. He had been on holiday. anyway as you all know I sold my car. to the dissapointment of the elderly gentleman.

Anyway, he is looking for the best example possible, with the lowest mileage possible. Ive explained to him that its gonna be a hard task locating one of these cars as they are getting rarer by the month, especially in excellent condition.

He is prepared to pay a substantial amount of cash for the rite car. I know there are some nice examples on here, someone may be willing to sell. Please pm me details

Like you say, it's going to be a very hard task indeed. Especially if he's going to be comparing to the coop you had. Is he strictly looking for an almost "out of the box" jobbie, or would he consider as good an example as possible then spend money bringing it up to perfection?
