michelin wet tyres for santapod or sprints in dry

Post by alex123 »

has anyone use michelin wet supersoft slicks for santa pod or sprints? i have got them and a pair of soft r888s, just want peoples views on the wet grip tyres as i have been told they will be amazing off the line ? many thanks

ive never used them, but imo the wets will be better than the R888's. They are very soft and will work from cold. If i was to pick a tyre it would be something like that.
Im guessing they will still be comprimised slightly by stiff sidewalls, but they should need minimal warming up which is ideal for the 1/4
If you use the R888's youll need to do a good burnout to get them working.

Ill look forward to the results :)
