Garage clear out 220 turbo bits - job lot

Post by Jimmy »

Hi All,

After 14 years of being on the Rover scene I'm selling up what I have left,

Coupe front bumper with fogs, no cracks but does need a paint job,
Various down pipes, intermediates and back boses
Fuse boards,
Expansion tanks,
Rear trailing arms,
Front lower arms,
Flywheels (4gap)
Radiator and intercooler brackets,
Intake manifold including spare top half's that read 'Turbo',
Hub assemblies,
x4 cylinder heads (cams removed but are there with some surface rust)
4 or 5 bottom ends (some bare block couple built with sumps)
Oil pumps (one brand new)
1 used good crank,
Front shock struts,
various boxes of bolts and mounting plates,
Front coupe wing,
Parts of wiring harness,
Shirt driveshafts
Rover pin's if you wanted to repair or make a loom,
Fan bracket including two fans
Various coolant and boost hoses
Injectors
Spare valves and collets
Oil cooler lines
Clutch cables
Throttle cables,
Stock A.E rods and pistons
Bag full of various sensors
Thermostat housing
Crank and cam pulleys
Gearbox back plates
And I'm sure there's more that I've forgotten. You'll need a van to collect from Birmingham B31.

£200 no offers

As mentioned, this is a bargain, so I have sapped it up :D Only really for the engine related stuff so if there's anything someone wants from the list please let me know. Certainly any R8 based items I will be selling on as I have no use for them. Ruthlessly making a few quid isnt the intention here, any money I take will be put towards a good cause :)
I'll be collecting the booty next weekend and no doubt it'll take a while to sort out what's what and suss out what to keep and what to sell. I know a few years ago people would have been asking for bits x, y & z off the list so hopefully there's enough interest still in these modern times
So please dib stuff with a reasonable offer as the money raised should help us all - a bit cryptic I know but check the POL 2018 thread in the living room...

Hi Mitus, if you have any coolant hoses for 220 turbo, especially ones that connect to the heater matrix, i'd be interested. thanks.

No k-series goodies I'm afraid.

No coolant pipes either.
Only pipes I remember seeing were boost pipes and IIRC they are uncut if they're of use to anyone. Also remember seeing at least one 2 gap flywheel.

1 Turbo top half put aside for vinny. There's 1 more and 1 injection embossed version too. I'll update the list properly once I've had chance to sort through it all.

Apologies for the delay getting pics up, there was a lot to sort through! These are the parts which I will definitely not need so are the first to go. Once I've cleared some space I can go through the rest a bit better.

T-Series turbo exhaust manifolds x2. One has a bolt hole opened up (top of pic) presumably for a bigger bolt/stripped thread.
Image

220 Steering racks. One normal power assited, the other a manual so possibly good for track toy?
Image

220 PAS cooling pipe
Image

I assume these are bumper brackets? Having never owned an R8 I don't recognise them
Image

Oil cooler & pipes, a pair of pipes and 1 long pipe only with a braided flexi section
Image

220 Front subframe
Image

Pair of coupe front wings. Dusty but look good condition, think they are Charcoal
Image
Image

Exhaust link pipe, looks to be stainless with mild steel flanges. Cat is gutted so basically a de-cat
Image
Image
Image

R8 Engine bay fusebox
Image

R8 Front bumper with fogs. Paint is cracked in places but bumper itself looks OK.
Image
Image
Image

R8 Tail lights
Image

NASP top half of inlet (no tapping for PCV breather)
Image

R8 O/S headlight
Image

220 Engine mount parts, quantities as shown
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

Boost pipes. I thought they were un-cut at first but one of the long ones looks longer than the other?
Image

R8 Lower arms fitted with poly bushes
Image

R8 Front hubs
Image

Targa roof panel bag, dusty but good condition
Image

220 fan frame & another with fans
Image

I believe these are referred to as "hockey sticks"? Thought it was a pair but looks like they're both O/S
Image

Chrome grill, all mounting studs are intact
Image

200/25/ZR Header tanks
Image

Standard turbo elbow. Lambda included but don't know if it works!
Image

Dash strips with clock. One is black plastic, the other is wood which has been painted black that is lifting in places.
Image

R8 N/S Front indicator
Image

R8 O/S Hub & lower arm
Image

R8 Front struts & hubs
Image

Some of this may be worthless but I'd rather offer it up in case it is of use to someone. I have no clue what the stuff is worth so please make me offers. Would prefer the bigger stuff to be collected either from me in Oxfordshire OX11 or it can be relocated to Leicestershire LE10 at my dads if that helps.

I want a turbo top inlet

The fog lights I would sell separate worth decent money

All the hubs have the mounts for an ABS sensor, the pair with the struts still fitted have the sensors in.

I put aside a turbo inlet for you. The braided pipe is for the OE oil cooler, not PAS. Point taken with the fogs, if someone wants them I'll take them out of the bumper.

There are also 5 flywheels, 4x 2 gap & 1x 4 gap IIRC.

I already have a good O/S hub, but was going to fit ZR diesel shocks / springs to it. I imagine that your full front legs are genuine 220 coupe so would prefer those, and a 2 gap flywheel. I would prefer to pick them up from Hinckley area. Do you want to PM me a price if they are still available.

I'll have a look when I get chance, there were a few boxes of bits & bobs!

Front struts/hubs sold pending payment.
