One of my freinds just got his renewal on his motorbike.
Last year is was just under £500 TPFT, since then he got 8 points (5 for an accident, 3 for speeding), he's lost his license (doing his retest today) and he now reides a faster bike than he did last year.
His renewal is £388
I really dont understand how that works. Yeah he's 21 now, but even so why did his quote get cheaper with all the offenses? I dont think he understands either but isn't going to complain about it.

Try Adrian Flux mate. I was with CIS on my first year (aged 18, 214SEi) and it was £900 TPFT. Following year (although I'd had an accident, no claim was made as I was not at fault and they said it wasn't factored into my price) - aged 19 with now 1 years NCB (the only difference between the two) and the renewal was £1900 TPFT. So an extra grand for having an extra years NCB... They're really good for the first year, then renewals get silly. I went with Highway through Chris Knott when I renewed, got it for 740...

It could have been worse if it was careless driving. I had 11 points at one stage, 40 in a 30 3pts, 98 in a 70 5pts and 93 on a motorway 3pts. My license is clean now, just gotta wait 6 months for the last 3 to drop off my license.
