AvP

Post by Sheaf »

Well, on the topic of films I thought I'd mention AvP.

Saw it on Saturday, and was well worth the money and time.

The predators look soo much better, the storyline is cool, the special effects are great... the list goes on.

It doesn't have the character of the 1st predator film, but nothing beats an Arnie film with people getting called 'slack jawed faggots'!! Better than the previous Alien films, although not anywhere near as tense.

Definatley go and see this film.

Saw Resident Evil 2 last week too, that's dam good also. All the good films always come out at once.

Yeah i got it on dvd a few months ago(AvP), iid like to go see it on the biog screen as i liked it(on the tv screen!!), if nothing else, its worth seeing the fight scenes, and a few other things i cant say without giving the story away.

Go see it :)

oh so both sound like watchers.

i loved pred and all the alien films,,,just from the ad's i thought the story looked rather cheezy.

so long as it doesn't have a really cheezy ending i can handle it ;)

loved resident evil, so sure i'll enjoy the 2nd one as well ;)
looks like a double header is on the cards this weekend then :)

G if you like mila fflksajfjsalj (whats her name) then I can suggest Species for you to watch. It's got some nice topless shots in it.
If its got T1TS or WHEELS, it WILL give you problems.

Seen Both AvP and ResidentEvil Apocalipse a while ago.

ResidentEvil Apocalipse is by far the better of the two.
G' you love the new Side kick bird ;) (H....O...TTT)

They could have done so much more with AvP but i guess they blew the budget on the FX.

I still think AvP was good!
The story was based on the book ffs, they cant really do much about that.
Besides it wasn't that bad, and it explained the origins of it all.

The fights were great. Only complaint was it took too long to get into the action.

As for the women, I think sidekick in the 2nd RE was best.

i never really got into any of the alien films, infact i can remember watching bits of a few of them about 5 years ago but thats about it.

remember predator though, what a quality film

predator 2.... :? why did they even bother?

would like to see AvP but think i should watch a couple of alien films 1st.

i would much rather see RE2 though. i saw the resident evel for the 1st time last week and i loved it!... i think it was left open in a brilliant way for the sequal.

whats next? Quake or duke nukem the movie?

I went to see AvP on Sunday, and then watched Alien3 on telly that night. Has anyone who's seen both noticed the little links between the two films? Like, for example, the corporate W (Weyland) logo on all of the prisoners clothes in Alien3? Love it!
Oh, and to add my opinion to the thread, I thought AvP was top. Not the best film ever in the history of the world ever (part 1)TM, but great entertainment.

OJR. :D
