Why are you so relieved ? ... it's not like you ever had any of their tacky stuff on your car.
I think it was amazing that they lasted so long as a company because they really were extreme designs. I only know of one 600ti with a mynheer kit and they ruined the look of it. Mind you, the two-tone paint scheme didn't do it justice either.
That just leaves one other mickey mouse bodykit company which is still going. Now thats even more of a miracle how they manage that.

I'm not sure if they are to my taste, but can't see anything wrong with it.
We need to be careful saying things like "thank fcuk" as we could be open for legal action?
i always thought the mynheer kit for the coupe was quite good, needed a bit of work, but was a good starting point..

sorry, butb there is nothing wrong with thier designs. They are very expensive but thats not the point. I have one of thier kits and am extremely happy with the quality and the design, as, im sure a few other members will agree with that have one of their kits. I dont think is very fair to judge like that on personal preferance.

Or could have been some bad tobacco
Seriously though, its all down to personal taste and what one person finds comical, another finds tasteful. Nothing new would ever be developed unless people had differing tastes

I did go over to Mynheer once when I was first looking into getting an induction system for the 600 - and I fancied a drive
The guys were really helpful (although I did not buy anything). Some of their milder designs are Ok but a lot of the stuff is a bit too OTT for my liking...

What did a designer clothing manufacturer have to do with Mynheer closing
Was one of the Directors a former customer who decided to by em out and shut em down to save the rest of humanity the pain and torment

I dont suppose I can really slag them off too much seeing as my coupe has one of there body kits on.
Mine was the first kit they ever done for the rovers. Back then about 7 years ago it looked quite extreme, maybe the rear spoiler still does, but by there more recent years standards it looks almost discreet by comparison.
I do think they got a bit carried away in more recent years but suppose they were different and extreme things will always be under much harder scrutiny.
Just my pennies worth....

I do love Paul's white coupe from Myneer but most of their stuff I detest and from what I have experienced and eard from many others, the customer service is either very poor or very good, depending on what mood you get them in, never anything in the middle. They do tend to get a bad name from a lot of people.
I was rather concerned about one car they were selling too. Described at immaculate, but it was so obvious it had been in a big rear ender, plus the turbo lump had disappeared and a nasp in it's place
Hey Ho

Just FYI - as a forum owner, you are covered by the same legislation that protects ISP's etc from libel cases - the only time you'd have a problem is if you are proven to know the details of a poster but refuse to give it to the courts after a court order has been passed to you requesting it.....anyone stupid enough to ignore a court order is clearly, well, stupid anyway.
AND Big G hasn't made a libelous comment - no-one can dispute that he doesn't like mynheer and their work - as purely by him saying it he has proven it.
So don't worry

When i saw there coupe in the flesh i liked it.
The back looks great, the side skirts could do with being smaller but the front bonnet is hideous. Needs something alot more discreet on the front.
I reckon i could design a good kit for the coupe.
If i designed one, does anyone know of any companies that would make a mould?
