BULK BUY - Mike Rainbird ACT Guages

Post by Steve220 »

Hi Guys,

If you've never seen these before, these are charge temp guages, LCD displays with a blue background.
have a looks here:-
http://www.randbmotorsport.co.uk/shop/D ... oductID=46

I've emailed Mike to ask if we can get a discount on them, he said if more than 5 order, we can get them for £46 with free delivery.
This is the email i got off him

Hi Steve,
Normally the blue ones are £48.50 each (delivered). If you ordered five or more, then I could do these for £46.00 each and the delivery would be free.

Not a considerable saving, but the costs of these have been already pared to the bone and they are very labour intensive to make AND come with a lifetime manufacturing defects warranty.

Hope this helps.
Best regards
Mike Rainbird

If anyone wants to get one, let e know on here, and i'm sure we can work something out :)

how feckin much..........

i remember when they wer £30, shows what a bit of good reputation done and the price rockets.

you can buy similar from maplins for a hell of a lot less.

if they were £30 i'd maybe splash out, but not exactly much discount for a group buy is it ?

you thought it was expensive the other night when i told you they were £48 ;)

considering that you can get the turbodisplay system for £139 that does ACT, boost, water injection trigger and you thought that was a ripoff, add them up and it looks even more of a good price all the time ;)

i'll get my RS cd out this evening, as they also do a suitable setup for mucho less money ;)

anyway, i'm just p1ssed as i've had two guages and they both broke on me, lol and i hate discounts that are less than 10%, feels like a slap in the face :P

They are logger though as they can't cope with the vibrations of a car.

Their reputation is the reason I bought one ;)

I'm sure they could be made for cheaper, but then again - would they take the in car environment. These things are usually designed to sit monitoring fish tanks afterall ;)
