Excellent, might be in the 12's by the end of the day going by terminal speed and if you say it was a poor start.

13.1sec was his best but run 114.3mph on a 13.2sec run should be 12.9sec 1/4" is he get it launching better.
his best 60ft's were high 2.3s and 2.4s
should be able to get 2.1 or2.2's with the right launch.

he is chaufed though managed to beat a brace of m3's and m5's 8)

Can't wait to get mine up there again!

Hi,

nice one from Bob, 2 quick cars between you there.

It does look like this year will see some good FWD times :-D, hopefully from us Rover people more than anyone else ;-)

Cheers

Neil

P.S. Honda boys are also allowed to do ok ;-)

Mmmmmm............... Are you going to be the one that bans a Mod then ? :P

Seriously - As Neil and Andy will tell you I am all for the Rover boys doing well, and I actually had more crowd support from the Rover crew last year than anyone else :D

I'm running a CRX because its a lot lighter than the Cabriolet. I was entered in the Cab for TOTB1 but it blew just before the event so I've actually never been to Elvington with a Rover :( After this years TOTB4 I will be putting my efforts into converting the Cab to 1800 turbo vtec power - and then we might see me in a fast Rover again.

I was at POD last Sat and watched Bob nail those BM's, he was soooooooo very close to the 12's too, had a little chat with him before he left and I'm sure he'll be in the 12's very soon.
Car looked and sounded great, well done Bob.

I never made it, the car had to go back to the bodyshop and they never finished it by the Saturday.

As it happens i never made the lastest mapping session anyway as i was in France again for work.

My car hates me :x
